Pursuing true North

As we move through Holy Week, it can be easy to jump straight to Easter Sunday. But before the celebration of the resurrection, there was the humility, sacrifice, and deep love of Jesus on display in powerful ways.

One moment that stands out so clearly is Maundy Thursday. The word points back to the command Jesus gave His disciples: love one another.

On that night, Jesus shared a meal with His disciples, washed their feet, and showed them what real love looks like. He served with humility, knowing fully what was ahead.

That is what makes this day so meaningful.

Jesus did not just tell us to love one another. He modeled it.

As we reflect during Holy Week, may we remember His love, His sacrifice, and His example. And may we also ask ourselves how we can live out that same command: love one another.
